Six supersized birds stand radiant and watchful, their forms internally illuminated and alive with an evocative soundscape. Each bird listens. Speak, whistle, or sing, and they respond with their own interactive call, awakening playful dialogue between human and nature. Through this simple yet universal act of communication, the installation transforms public space into a shared chorus of curiosity and delight.

An original audio composition enriches the experience, weaving ambient textures and authentic bird calls into a living tapestry of sound. As each visitor lends their voice, the installation evolves - layering human expression with birdsong.

Created in joyful collaboration with Lights On Stratford, Birds of a Feather celebrates interspecies and international communication. In this luminous gathering of species and voices, we are reminded that connection begins with listening - and sometimes, with a simple bird call.
